As a mother, I often find myself reflecting on the complexities of my relationship with my son, Nat. Rather than feeling the typical pride that comes with motherhood, I experience a deep admiration for his unique abilities and perspective on life. This ability to embrace life so fully is something I find myself envious of.
In moments of frustration or confusion, I remind myself that Nat's journey is not defined by societal norms, but by his own unique experiences. This realization has shifted my perspective, allowing me to celebrate his individuality and the lessons he offers me every day.
