From Foster Care to Advocacy: Turning Pain into Purpose

Given away at just 15 months old, my journey through the foster care system was fraught with challenges and emotional turmoil. Growing up in various placements, I faced the harsh realities of separation, instability, and uncertainty. However, rather than allowing these experiences to define me, I transformed my pain into a powerful purpose: advocating for foster youth.

Today, I dedicate my life to helping others navigate the complexities of separation trauma. By sharing my story, I aim to raise awareness about the struggles faced by children in foster care and the importance of supportive resources. My advocacy work focuses on providing emotional support, mentorship, and practical tools for healing.

Through community outreach and educational programs, I strive to empower foster youth, encouraging them to find their voices and reclaim their narratives. Together, we can create a brighter future for those who have experienced the challenges of foster care, ensuring that no child feels alone in their journey.
